Rules

Short and simple. Follow them and we'll all have a good time.

In-game rules

How we keep the server fun and fair.

  1. 1

    No griefing or stealing.

Don't damage or demolish anyone else's builds, and don't take items that aren't yours. This also covers messing with someone's trains, airships, or other contraptions, moving, dismantling, or hijacking them counts as griefing.

  2. 2

Client mods are fine, within reason.

You're welcome to use client-side mods as long as they don't give a meaningful advantage over other players. If you're unsure whether a mod crosses the line, ask staff before using it.

  3. 3

    No unprovoked PvP.

Don't attack other players unless both of you are up for it.

  4. 4

    Report exploits.

Found a bug or exploit? DM a moderator or admin. Using exploits on purpose is a straight ban.

  5. 5

    Keep contraptions performance-friendly.

Optimize big builds. Don't leave massive assembled contraptions (trains, airships, Aeronautics crafts) running or floating unattended for long stretches. If your setup is tanking server TPS, staff may ask you to pare it down.

  6. 6

    Fly with respect.

When piloting an Aeronautics craft near someone's builds, watch where you go. Crashing into or dumping your airship onto someone's base without permission is treated the same as griefing.

  7. 7

    Build with taste.

Cobblestone shacks, dirt cubes, and 1×1 stone towers scattered around the world look awful. Minecraft has hundreds of blocks, use a few of them and put in the tiny bit of effort to make something that isn't an eyesore. We don't expect castles, just not monuments to laziness.

Community & Discord

How we keep the chat respectful and the vibe chill.

  1. 1

Be chill, civil, and respectful to each other.

Treat all members with respect and express your thoughts in a constructive manner.

  2. 2

Keep your Discord profile in an appropriate state.

Avoid special characters, emojis, obscenities, impersonation, and anything that violates our rules.

  3. 3

    Don't spam.

Avoid excessive amounts of messages, images, formatting, emojis, commands, and @mentions.

  4. 4

Don't unnecessarily tag or DM the administrators.

Please respect their time and don't ping or message them out of the blue. They're people too.

  5. 5

    No personal information.

Protect your privacy and safety, as well as the privacy and safety of others, by not requesting or sharing personal information.

  6. 6

No hate speech or harmful expressions.

This may include harassment, insults, elitism, bullying, and/or racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQ+, or otherwise offensive content (including slurs and expressions about physical and/or mental disabilities). We have zero tolerance for posts that harm others.

  7. 7

    No political or religious topics.

These complex topics lead to controversial and offensive posts that can offend, hurt, and create a non-inclusive environment.

  8. 8

No pirated, sexual, NSFW, or otherwise suspicious content.

We do not condone, promote, or support illegal or suspicious discussions and activities. This also applies to profile pictures, banners, and usernames.

  9. 9

Rules are subject to common sense.

These rules are not exhaustive, and using loopholes in the rules to violate their spirit is subject to enforcement.
